Te Tohu Paetahi Ako – Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Early Years

  • 3 years full-time (up to 6 years part-time)
  • Study locations: Whakatane, Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) and Te Taitokerau (Northland)
  • Candidates will be admitted through an interview and testing process. The Māori language competency of all applicants will be assessed as part of the interview process.


Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi has amalgamated its two education degrees, Primary and Early Teaching and Learning, into a single unique degree.

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and the Education Council of Aotearoa New Zealand accredited and approved degree has taken a new shape and has strengthened its delivery capabilities as well as enhanced the quality to students.
